Were you as happy as she was? Were you scared? Did you secretly not want her to be pregnant? Just wondering where a man's mind is at that time. Thanks!

I got there on time from a free ride from the city cop cruiser, then my happinesss took a great big dive to one of sudden awe, my wife had a little baby martian, then I figured she must of went out on me with a martian. My husband was more excited than i was. Our first child, wasnt planned, nor was it in wedlock, so i was scared, but he was pretty excited. Our second child came too close to the first. My son wasnt even 1 yet, and I was pregnant again. I told the doc to repeat the test, there must be a mistake, but my husband was excited and his face just fell when i told the doc that. I felt bad for him, but i wasnt ready for the first one, i wasnt married and only 20, and the second one came too close to the first one. But looking bad, I wouldnt change a thing. And ofcourse once they arrived into the world, WE were BOTH as happy as could be.

Well, the pregnancies for the 2 kids I fathered were planned. I was scared to death the first time. Having a kid changes everything for the dad to. I was very happy. There is no better feeling for a dad than holding your new born child.

I'm engaged, will be married in August, but we're planning on having kids, hopefully many. I'll be estatic when she tells me that she is pregnant, I get excited just thinking about being a father!

I think the best answer for me when I was first told was dazed, shocked, without words since it was an unexpected anouncement dropped on me out of the blue.
Later, probably still in a daze and unsure about this new change in life.
Later still, accepting and lets go for it, but still unsure as to what kind of parent I would be.

Ew. I think my lover would shoot himself in the head if I ever got pregnant and decided to keep it. So, to answer for the man, excited? No. Suicidal? Yes. I think I'd be the same way, suicidal that is.
