Iam a young entrepeneur that wants to open a food stall at the music festivals in the summer. I will mainly be cooking and bbq. I assume that i will need permits/health and safety/ permissions. But where do i start with this. Do i apply with my own council? Any help much appreciated.

you have to get a small business license, a food safety manager license, and proper permits. In addition you will need to register and pay for your space with the coordinators of the festivals. Go to your city hall or their website and look up the info. It's pretty easy once you get started.

You need to contact the promoters. They usually have control of the vendor space.
