IQ Test Scores: The Basics of IQ Score Interpretation
“What do you mean my child isn’t gifted — he got 99 on those tests! That’s nearly a perfect score, isn’t it?”

“The criteria you handed out says ‘a score in the 97th percentile or above.’ Peter got an IQ score of 97! That meets the requirement, doesn’t it?”

Comments like these are not unusual and indicate a complete misunderstanding of IQ test scores.

IQ stands for intelligence quotient. Supposedly, it is a score that tells one how “bright” a person is compared to other people. The average IQ is by definition 100; scores above 100 indicate a higher than average IQ and scores below 100 indicate a lower that average IQ. Theoretically, scores can range any amount below or above 100, but in practice they do not meaningfully go much below 50 or above 150.

Half of the population have IQ’s of between 90 and 110, while 25% have higher IQ’s and 25% have lower IQ’s:

An average person's IQ is around 120

130+ is for smart people

160+ are geniuses

Just heard it from my friend. So in terms of 'evidence based research' this is not a very high grade. I am only pretty sure that a person's IQ is around 120. A bit fuzzy about the 130+ and 160+

well just saying I could be wrong

The average Intelligence Quotient is 100. Plus or minus 30 points determines gifted or mentally retarded. 70=slightly retarded 130=gifted Don't take an online test to find your IQ those things are very skewed and not at all like true IQ tests. IQ tests themselves are different depending on the person giving them so this is why IQ can't really be used as a soul determining system.

The IQ scale is relative to the try being taken, because there are such truly some "IQ" checks available, they don't look all scored an identical and the end result's often mixed. I particularly have seen the classic score set at one hundred and that i have seen it set at 100 and ten, yet like I stated, it truly is all as a lot as whomever designed the try being taken. because you received a 120, you'd be seen above the norm on any try there, reliable activity : )

iq is discriminative.should be forbidden, what's this to counter someone's intelligence?we are all humans, not animals
if someone is a genius, it's a genius on a certain field, but intelligence is much more,
better invent something to measure good heart and soul, not for discriminate but for constructive lessons
in my opinion all saints were geniuses because they chose right,
what iq saint jesus would have had?
probably instead of answering questions in the test he would have done something over ordinary logic like miracles
