I think that Memphis is overrated. They play in a weak conference and do not play anybody with real talent (unless you call Gonzaga a talented team)

They have done all they can to secure a #1 seed, but in the end they will always have to prove their worth because Conf. USA just isn't a power conference. I feel your pain, being a louisville fan it seemed like they never got respect even when in 04' they won the CUSA regular season and tourney championships, had four losses all year, were ranked 4th in most polls, and wound up with a 4 seed. Don't worry about the seeding, if Memphis is for real they will wind up int he final four like the Cards did.

ESPN ranked Memphis's potential of schedule equivalent to that of Duke's. vulnerable schedule, huh? Memphis is likewise #2 RPI. vulnerable schedule, huh? (be conscious: Duke is #3.) Memphis additionally retained all their starters from their Elite 8 squad final season and further in a strategies-blowing rookie Derrick Rose. so that they are purely a powerful team in a vulnerable convention, huh? Memphis purely performed 2 strategies-blowing a hundred communities? surely, Memphis has performed 6 communities interior the strategies-blowing 30, 2 interior the strategies-blowing 10, 2 interior the strategies-blowing 20, and a pair of interior the strategies-blowing 30. Gonzaga, Arizona, UConn, USC, Georgetown, Oklahoma. in basic terms Houston and UAB, huh? and that's why Memphis is underrated. whilst there are idiots asserting Memphis is sweet purely because of the fact they play in a vulnerable convention, they for sure do not watch basketball. And with lots of idiots, Memphis is underrated, HUH!

The Tigers will win out and win their conference and they would have the same regular season record as they did last year. They deserve a No. 1 seed. It doesn't matter if they win the championship this year because they will have Derrick Rose playing next year for them and they will win it next year.

i dont think they should get a one seed because they are 1 and 3 against the RPI top 50. But i think they are underated and could go far in the tournament as a 2 seed.
