This board is so full of hate, because there are people who come here to preach, and us gays here feel the need to lash back to defend ourselves. Both sides are very stubborn, with neither side willing to give an inch. It is just human nature; we see it all the time outside of here as well.
Not that I am saying that this issue is as important, but it is very similar to the situation we see in the Middle East today. Both sides are so bent on being right, that neither is willing to compromise in order for peace to exist. The few leaders who HAVE been suggesting peace have been killed BY THEIR OWN PEOPLE!
Jesus promoted peace and acceptance, not intolerance and hate. Both sides need to understand this for us to get along. In addition, one side needs to understand that the other does not hold to their beliefs, and both sides need to quit forcing their beliefs on others! That is the way to accept one another. I have a Christian FRIEND who works with me, and we can discuss issues calmly and rationally. We disagree on MANY issues, but he is one of my closest friends that I have!

Cuz most those people spend too much time reading their bible online, when they need to go out and mingle with the human race a little bit. Then they'd see just how far behind the times they are.

You will have the people who have nothing but the bible to guide them through life, a document that was written and revised a very long time ago. People need to learn to think for themselves and understand that we are all different. Times change, and we have to adjust to it all.

It is interesting, how some who quote scriptures trying to obey and please GOD,, are offending God at the same time and dismiss this, and we are not the judge, nor did i get the job of deciding what is a sin, and what is good, i have only to follow my faith and hold on tight, to it,
SO MANY OTHER DEEDS, OR SINS THAT ARE SOMEHOW ACCEPTED HURT ME, AND HAVE TORN MY OWN SPIRIT TO PIECES,.. only for me to forgive, and sort thru truths, and beliefs, and teachings, to get back on track,,

i do agree THIS board seems to be topped off in hate. i don't think it has anything to do with Jesus or Biblical teachings, some just feel it's their calling to protect us from ourselves. lol! when i see the "ranters" i ignore them.. just as i do in real life! there are plenty of "good" ppl around (who i like and they me) that i choose not to waste my time explaining or justifying anything to them. life IS short and i just don't have the time to waste on them. i have much better (and more fun!) things to do.
ignore them and they will eventually go away. address, conflict, explain, justify, or appease them in any way, and you have fallen into their trap! and since you posted on the lgbt board, truth is they need gays to justify to themselves their very existence. pathetic. but sad is really more like it, tho.
