Well not only my grand and great frand but my parents and me as well.
The word gay was used often and had nothing to do with homosexual. A *** was a cigarette. Can't use the work ****** either now. I know there are more but just now I don't seem to remembver them.
Many things using those words would not be said now
Yahoo will not let me use the N word for a black and the word F-A-g that once ment a cigrette. See how bad it is getting. Can't even write those words now.

" by the boards" meant as a term to do away with something.
" saying 'years' far too many times in a sentence" As in "I knew X for years and years and years and years" Sounds pretty damn redundant.

Its the courting one for me too ... My nan always asks me if i am courting ...
Oh and they used to say if u used the outside toilet that u have to be quick before old nick gets u (the devil)
