I think perhaps the word (Wasted-time) has to be somewhat ambiguous. If taking time to chat with friends, or answer questions on yahoo answers, or ask questions of a real learning nature is a waste of time then your heart is not in the right place in the first place.
A true waste of time would be doing drugs, booze, beating your kids, lying, cheating, stealing. Things that hurt or take things away from yourself or another.
Even watching TV can be constructive. Besides, would you be more impressed with spending the time at a bar or at home in front of the boob tube watching your favourite sitcom or reality show or a learning channel of some sort. Anything that fills the brain with something you didn't know before isn't usually a waste of time.
Now more enriching and rewarding things of your time wasn't asked here but that's a whole different can of worms.

Waste of time is when I'm on the train to work and back home. Absolute waste of precious time but there's no getting around it.
It could be made useful if I had enough space to hold a book to read it but the rush hour takes care of that with everyone simply squeezing into the tiniest bit of space.

not living for God is a waste of time, and a waste of life itself... have u ever heard the sayin 'Wasting time should be a crime..because if your purse get's stolen, or a burglar enters your home.. the problem can be mended with a few quick phone calls..you even get extra money.. time cannot be replaced..every minute counts... as you can see this quote hasn't entirely effected me cos im sittin here scorin points on yahoo answers!! lol

Biggest waste of time and money is going to College. It doesn't guarantee you a job and you always have to start at the bottom and work your way up. You would have been better off entering the work force out of high school

I'm really beginning to think its reading the ignorant illiterate questions being posted on this site. I'm embarrassed that this country has allowed its standards to drop so low. Most of the dough brains posting questions here, and on the MSN site, are really ignorant of even the most common information. Their writing skills have diminished to the point that most cannot compose a cogent inquiry.

To me the biggest waste of time is doing absolutely nothing and/or avoiding spend time with other people. There's always something you can do: for your family, friend and yourself.

Going To work. Just to make an honest dollar. Not being able to stay home with the kids watch them grow up and, not able to help them in there daily school work. Kids lose all around when moms have to work night shift cause, They don't have moms love to tuck them in at night. Wish Money was of plenty did not have to work bills were all paid and i coul give my children litle more of my time little more of my love so they know how much i care.
