I bet you have either Norton or McAfee for your virus protection. Both suck. So here's a method of removing the virus:
1) Restart in Safe Mode with Networking by pressing F8 before the windows boot screen appears.
2) Once in Safe Mode, turn of System Restore. Do this by right-clicking the My Computer icon, selecting the System Restore tab and checking the "Turn off System Restore" checkbox and clicking OK. It may take a few minutes to complete.
3) Open Internet Explorer and go to:
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html
This uses an ActiveX control, so you will need to allow it to install and run.
4) Run the complete scan. It will delete what it finds.
5) Before restarting, go to:
http://www.superantispyware.com
Download that program. It must be installed in Normal Mode, so go ahead and restart.
6) Install SUPERAntiSpyware, run it and update it, then run the full scan. This will take a good while also, and it will ask you to restart the computer at the end.
Hopefully, these 2 programs will get rid of the virus/trojan on your system. As a final measure, get rid of Norton/McAfee and try one of the following:
AVG Free http://free.grisoft.com FREE
Avast Home http://www.avast.com FREE
Kaspersky http://www.kaspersky.com NOT free, but best detection

Anti Virus software is, at best, only effective against about 99% of viruses. Since there are at least 114,000 virii that attack Windows, that means there are over 1000 virii that Antivirus software wont prevent. You have 2 solutions, one permanent and one temporary:
1. Temporary. Keep Windows, download AdAware from www.majorgeeks.com and run it, along with AVG also.
2. Permanent Dump Windows, get kubuntu or another opens source product that is not a virus magnet like Windows. www.kubuntu.org

You can try using Bullguard Antivirus. Get it at www.bullguard.com for 2 months free FULL-Version trial. It is really effective, it was able to detect adware, spyware, malware, and virus and delete/repair them successfully. It does not slow down your computer either :) I used it for 2 months then I bought the licensced version. It's not so expensive andm its worth the buy :) Many of my friends have tried it also, and have found it really good, since it comes with an internet security package too. Good luck! ^_^

You can't get rid of this using a virus scanner, because it isn't a virus, it's spyware or adware. Those two things are NOT viruses.
Get SpyBot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware, both free from download.com. Immunize the computer in SpyBot before you run a full bot check. Remove everything it finds using Fix Selected Problems. Run a full system scan in Ad-Aware. THEN you'll be free of the trojan.

Go to http://www.mbusbyuk.info/links.html and scroll down the page to free online virus & spyware scans.
Select Panda from the free virus scanners.
When you get to the site, click on Scan My Computer.
When it asks you to select which part of your computer to scan, click on My Computer.
This should fix your problem.
Good Luck.

Get a program like spy sweeper. These are better at getting rid of these type of programs. I would then suggest that you get a better anti virus program because yours let this one in.
Good Luck
