As far as I see in the below link it says No more after December 31, 2006. what can I do instead of that? Day ticket for SBahn??? what about busses or other means of public transportation?

Hi,

you can buy either a one day or a three day ticket.
If you stay longer, than a weekly or monthly ticket would be good as well.

Sorry, but you're too late....You can buy a "one day" ticket that's valid in München (Munich) for 24 hours a day (for busses)...or buy a ticket that's valid for a month (for busses or S-Bahn). I don't know their prices & fees, but you surely might find out...I know, you're a smart guy! ;-) Contact the Munich Tourism Office per e-mail and ask for more information.

Have used the 3 day card...it is (or was) great...Check with the big tourist office in the haptbahnhof when you get there-- maybe they have a substitute kind of deal. I am not sure this changes the subway 1 or 3 day passes...I don't think they are necessarily related to each other...
