try vinegar. pour 1/4 cup of vinegar in pot and fill up the rest with water. Run it through pot then shut off pot and run a couple of pots with just plain water through. This should clear it up.
To me nothing is worse then a bad cup of coffee in the morning.....You can stop by my house this morning for a cup of coffee. LOL
Hope your day is better then how it started.

try running a pot of vinegar water through the coffee maker. vinegar is an acid, clorox is a base and the two cancel each other out. it doesn't really matter what strength of vinegar water you use. I would think that 100% vinegar would not harm the machine. If you decide to use 100% solution, then follow it with a pure water rinse to flush out the vinegar. This also helps dissolve the coffee oils in the pot.

I'v honestly never heard of anyone using bleach to clean a coffee pot. Vinegar maybe. You might have to buy a new one, and I would recommend NOT using bleach again.

my mom runs diluted vinegar through her coffee pot to clean it. vinegar is good for cleaning (floors, etc) and isn't harmful to the enviroment. i don't know if that'll get rid of the taste of clorox, but its an idea for future cleanings! :)

(as long as you don't mind the smell of it for a little bit!!)

Pour boiling water into it! Turn on the coffee pot and let it run through. Also, don't use bleach. Use vinegar.

Try some soda water. Don't know how strong. Maybe a teaspoon per cup???? Don't know if it will do the job but soda is supposed to get rid of smells.
If warm water doesn't eliminate the odor--even try boiling water with the soda. Just a thought.
