Give them time to dry out first. Do not plug them in while they are wet or things will short out.
I once left a fridge outside in pouring rain for 3 weeks (very long story)
but I gave it a week or so to dry out inside and it was fine.

lots of people have their washers and dryers outside all the time and use them. I agree, make sure everything's dry first. they should be covered between uses so they don't rust out.

I would cover the controls with plastic so the water doesn't get in and cause a short.

Should. They're pretty tough. Just don't electricute yourself if it's damp.

yes,but before you use it please ensure that the wiring of the fridge is dry and also wipe the machine before you use it.
