if you've said sorry theres not much else you can do maybe take him for a wee drink. if he hasn't spoke to you maybe write a letter saying sorry explaining how you feel if that doesn't work don't keep grovelling let him come to you. you must feel you've done something bad to feel the need to keep apologising. different soloutions for different problems don something relevant to the thing you done wrong. good luck.

take him out for a drink, ask him to pin back his ears and listen, don't speak. And then simply say what you have written here - that you value the friendship between you, that you have been beating yourself up about how stupid you were, and gee whizz you will never be such an idiot again. I'm underplaying this a little, if you come in too heavy that can be quite an overwhelm. When he accepts your apology just say "I'm so embarrassed about what I did, can we put this behind us and never mention it again?" and hope he agrees, and then just get on with your friendship and don't refer to it again. All friendships have blips - it's how you get over them that is the test of a real friendship. Good luck, you sound like you two have a great bond between you.

I really dont know what your problem is here. I only say that becuase you dont seem to think that your apology is good enough on its own. If hes truly a friend then he will see that you mean it. why do you feel u need to do anything more to make him accept it? I assume he isnt planning the same for you. Just be HONEST and you wont need to make any big guestures, as these dont change the meaning of what you are saying at all.

Send him that old song that goes...'i'm sorry...so sorry, please accept, my apology...'
do you know it? say it with lyrics.
