Have you tried restarting your computer?

if your keyboard isnt working as well as the mouse pad, and u havent dropped ur laptop or spilled anything on it then hook up an external keyboard and run recovery console from your windows disk.

Replace the key pad, it might be a hard job to do at first, but you can do it.
