i'm a libertarian, yet I surely have voted republican in some national elections. human beings have been looking forward to Obama to bathe abode after Bush, you're able to say that Bush opened the door for Obama, and then Obama on no account further on his marketing campaign supplies. it fairly is tough to assert at this component. Obama's approval scores, in accordance to maximum polls, are at an rock bottom. it could have something to do with that he did not shop his marketing campaign supplies, to increasing the national debt to lots extra desirable than Bush ever did. even yet it fairly is tough to assert. i don't think of he will win a 2d term, yet take Nixon as an occasion. many human beings hated the guy. And he offered the yank human beings on ending the Vietnam conflict - two times. additionally, if this Rod Blagojevic trial finally ends up implicating Obama in unlawful activities, i think of there's a super probability he won't be re-elected, if not impeached.

I seriously doubt it. It is a real mess.

But then, rarely has an incoming president been able to clean up the messes created by the outgoing president.

Bush has had a very tough time cleaning up Clintons messes for example.

I think that one of the best ideas is that if the most of the government (minus national defense for example) were to take 4 to 8 years off.

For the most part, I imagine that the country would be better off.

Bush has his pluses and minuses. JUST LIKE EVERY PRESIDENT IN OUR HISTORY. You liberals have some really primes examples of presidents that caused more harm than good too.

Get off your high horse and stop being a "mouth" for the democratic(socialist) propoganda machine.

Americans are similar in some ways to schooling fish. First one or two take off in some direction, them more follow untill the majority are then changing directions and blindly following those one or two.

This doesn't make the fish "informed", "intelligent" or even "right". It just means that most of us simply follow blindly whever we consider our leaders (that is why picking who our opinion leaders are is soooo important) have led us.

And guess what, schooling fish, like "schooling citizens" are actually food for others. Large fish like baracuda or tuna know that they are easily hearded, controlled and then eaten at liesure.

Personally, I prefer to be on the eating side rather than the "being eaten" side.

I think that the time has far past us that Americans need to return to our indipendent and free heritage and start doing our own thinking for a change.

No, Bush is STILL cleaning up the mess from the Clinton Administration.

Clinton IGNORED the 4 prior attacks on the US
Clinton released Bin Laden prior to 9-11 when he was in custody
Clinton left the economy in a recession
Clinton reduced our armed forces to an all time record low

We will pay for the ills of the Clinton Administration for quite some time to come. While Bush has made many strides in correcting the mess that Billary left, it will take many, many more years to clean up.

It will take 50 years to clean up the mess made by Bush if we do not get a true american leader for president .
A politician will never be able to fix the problems .
Its like fixing a clogged pipe when you are one of the thousands of hairs blocking the flow .

What mess would that be? Should we have not joined the other 40 countries and take an aggressive stand against the numerous terrorist attacks that innocent civilians have had to endure for the last 40 years? 911, London, Spain to name a few? We used 13 years of diplomatic relations in Iraq and it did not good. We are not alone there either.
I guess we could have just all buried our heads in the sand and let the terrorist grow even more.

I'm hopeful that a strong leader can. But the irony is, when that president does the tough stuff necessary to, for example, get the budget back in line, he or she may get blamed.

President Bush (use some respect he is still the president) is still working on the mess Clinton made - remember he is the one that cut back our military.

I dont think you can bring back the dead . Those people are gone forever. If a republican win then it may be a increase of the presence in Iraq if a democrate is elected he/she will try to cut down the presence there. But I dont think US will pull out totally. But my guess is as good as yours.
