I mean, we watch Scrubs, Friends, House, Law and Order, CSI, The Simpsons, 8 Simple rules, 24, Futurama, American Idol, My Name is Earl etc etc... I wonder if they return the favour and watch our programs?

I am not american but I did ask this question a few weeks ago. They watch Eastenders, Monty Python, Ab, Fab, Vicar of Dibley, Keeping up Appearances, Doctor Who, basically a lot of our older shows mainly!! They get the British version of the Office too!!

We have the channel BBC America. We have such British shows here as Monty Python, Are you Being Served?, What Not To Wear, Doctor Who, etc. Although, British television isn't much popular here anyways. Sorry! ;)

Keeping Up Appearances (one of my favorite;)
Open All Hours
As Time Goes By
Waiting for God (another favorite)
Sherlock Holmes (With Jeremy Britt)

Unfortunately, we just don't get a lot of British programing over here. Personally, I'd like to see more.

Interesting question, but I dont know the answer; dont they watch the british version of the office there? how was it recieved, anybody? I think they had the english version of men behaving badly too, and made a TERRIBLE american remake of it. What IS it with americans taking a good sitcom and rather than just showing it there, they make their own 'version' of it, which is alwasy dire?

Absolutely Fabulous (my FAVE)
Monty Python
Vicar of Dibley
Keeping up Appearances
Doctor Who
Are You Being Served?
I can't remember the title of this particular show but Judy Dench (sp?) stars.

That's all I can come up with off the top of my head...

I 'm sorry but I don't watch any. The british humor , in my opinion, is too dry and they make many references to british parliment which I know nothing about. Also, I have a hard time understanding the actors because of the heavy accents. I'm a hillbilly from the south so it may just be me with these issues.
