UNBELIEVABLE! first of all I am NOT A HATER I am talking TALENT here. That Sanjaya dude is NO SINGER and that other dude they sent home (was that AJ ?) last night could really wail. i guess all Sanjay's pak bruthas called in..what a shame what a waste, even Sanjay was shocked (as he should be) and anyone with an ear knows Antonella Barba should have gone instead of the other girl, i think her name was Amy.Barba has NO VOICE compared to the girl that left (although Barba IS gorgeous) obviously American .Idol has sunk to more of a POPULARITY CONTEST than having anything to do with real talent. It is truly a joke. I am really angry and kind of sickened

I agree. Sanjaee should have been sent home. I think some of his votes may have come from the older audience. It is the only explanation I can think of..........
As far as AJ, there were others that should have gone home long before it got to him, he should not have even been in the bottom two.
The girls Antonella should have been thrown off the show. They threw another girl off the show a few seasons back for the same behavior, the should keep their rules consistent. That and her voice sucks. She has stabbed a lot of friends in the back once she was accepted on the show, no wonder the photos were leaked. I think her voice is awful and she should have gone home.
You are correct it is turning into a popularity contest. Simon should stand up and say something, he is the only one with enough balls to do so...that or take the judging from the idiot American Public.

I think that America made a big mistake ! Sanjaya & Antonellea should have been the ones voted off. Leslie and A.J wouldn't have won but I think they were much better than the other two that made it. I think that Sanjaya and Antonella are the weakest singers in the compition and they are still on two weeks later something isn't right....
So far my favorite woman is Melinda Doolittle and my favorite guy is Chris Richardson ( the guy that missed his daughters birth to be on American Idol) I would be really happy is one of the two won !

Nah, it wasn't the Pakistanis, it was all the pre-pubesent chickies who think he's sooooo cute. He is a sweetie, but this isn't about who's sweet. I like him, personality-wise, but I'm suprised beyond belief that he even got on the show. I agree with you, too about Barba, she's a beauty. I think she would be very marketable as a Barbie Doll but not as an American Idol contender.

sanjaya was shown a lot during the tryouts so people recognized him. thats the only reason why he stood out. plus he sucked, you cant forget his performances.

first of all dude he aint pakistani he is indian
and although he isnt the best singer of the group but he has a good voice its just that he aint got any personality the first time i saw him that day i was like has michael jackson changed his skin color to brown .....................but you gotta agree he is kinda sweet at heart and once he finds his way in the dark alley he will be fine
currently i think he needzta go .......maybe some other time for him
