I was just served with a b.s. order of protection for verbal abuse. I was out of the house for 2 Days and then I got a call from my ex-wife (1st one) saying that my current "found" a crack pipe in the house and took it to the police station and filed a report.
I know she got it from a friend she used to live with. It was planted. I am a professional and I am 39 yrs old. I am straight but have a past history (10+ yrs ago) I do not look the part of a crack head. I am a sales engr who turned his life a round.
Last week prior to the order of protection my wife was calling my work asking for the President the sole purpose of having me fired.Yes I am getting a lawyer. My question is how can someone walk into a police station with a pipe or 10 pounds of drugs and say I found this in the house and they write a report on it?

will the judge see all this as extremely malicious behavior to do nothing more then destroy my life?

well may be you can do a drug test to prove that you have been off the drugs.

Of course they can file a report, you can file a report on almost anything (dogs barking too loud, etc.). I agree with the first response, your best bet is to explain to your boss and ask him to be patient and understanding. Furthermore, orders of protection are commonly granted. The only thing I have to add to the previous response is that if this continues, consider a claim against her civilly for defamation of character and slander. Since she was calling your boss to tell him something that was untrue and intended to terminate your employment, you may have a case. Glad you have a lawyer-- it's very important. I also remind you that judges in family court and matrimonial court see this type of behavior all the time and are prepared to handle it appropriately.

She can take it to the police but they cant arrest you for it. The police have to find drugs on you,or in your house or car they cant just take her word for it that she found it in the house. But be prepared to get stopped a few times and maybe have your car checked out.
I would have a talk with the President of your company if you can and explain the situation so he understands if she should somehow get through to him

Thats terrible. Because you have a history the police probably gave your wife the benifit of the doubt, you should fight this in court. Dont let your evil wife ruin your life!
