I have a dell 3000 as one of my computer's and it's full of everthing you can think of and still going strong. So i don't beleive it's your drive.Do a few thing's and we'll see. 1.Click on tools, internet option's,privacy tab, move slider down to accept all cookies.Apply,ok. 2. Click on start, control panel, security center, window's firewall. There click on exception tab.On list see if your game is listed and checked. If not click on add program just under the list. There see if your game is listed,if yes check it,ok. 3. When playing some game's make sure it is only window open. 4.Other game's don't like pop-up blocker's on either, shut off just while playing game's(.When your in the exception tab area make sure messenger is check'ed also)You can try these one at a time to see witch one work's if any.But i'm sure that it is one of these step's holding you from playing the game.Good luck.

Need more info. What speed processor do you have? How much RAM do you have now? Is it a intergrated video card? What game so we can know the specs. If you can answer these we can give you a better answer.

I would just buy a new computer. If you have to replace a major parts in your pc- think of the cost of the parts and labor. Plus, if you upgrade those what will be next.
