If They Do Who Do You Think It Will Be?

Now That The Patriots Have Signed Thomas and Lost A Big Chunk Of Cap Room (22 Million I Think) Who Do You Now Think We Could Sign? I Disagree With Joe Horn I Think He Is Washed Up and Too Old and Bill Wouldnt Deal With Him.

I hear he Pats are going after Adalius Thomas LB right now. That would be a great signing, and leaves less of a need at LB. Which means they dont have to spend both 1st round picks on LB. I would look for them to try and pick up at least one veteran wide out through free agency and also take at least one in the draft with one of their first round pick. I think They would be looking at Guys Like Robert Meachem or Dwayne Bowe in terms of the draft. In terms of free agency Kevin Curtis I think would be a good fit for the patriots, but the pats might not want to pay that much, Other guys they might consider are Drew Bennett, Antonio Bryant, Brandon Stokley if he is healthy.

They may try to sign Joe Horn, and I hope not because I want to see him in black & gold. Drew Bennett and Eric Moulds are available, but Bennett will probably be above their asking price. Moulds may be a strong possibility since he's declined in skills the last two years, so he's more affordable. More than likely with a draft deep in WR talent, look for the Patriots to draft a couple and build their WR corps that way. They are a team always looking to build for the future and not just a "win now" team.

Even with that lack they cant get a super huge player because they probably dont have enough cap room, so they may take joe horn, but as i said theyre more of a defense squad thats where they spend money

The Pats draft in the 20's so there best shoot is to get the Wideout out of Tennesse but I think that Joe Horn is there best shoot.

Joe Horn is now available. I can see them making a play for him. not a HUGE effort, but a play for him. Belly-chick's biggest problem is his arrognace, and he'll likely never admit that they NEED a WR badly.

that's okay. they'll continue their slide and they'll be irrelevant in a few years.
