Already on eBay £875.00 for 2 tickets with face value of £45.00 each. When are Promoters going to do something to stop this like Kylie did?

It's ridiculous. There were some on ebay yesterday before they'd even gone on sale! I emailed the guy in question asking how come he had so many (he claimed to have about 100 front row tickets for sale for a few different nights) and he said he was mates with one of the promoters...

If that's true, it's wrong that genuine fans can't get these tickets and that they're given to mates of mates. But it's also likely he was lying and ripping people off.

I think the only fair way to do it is a lottery with photos on tickets, like Glastonbury this year, where you register first and get picked out of the draw.

Either that or make it illegal to sell on tickets and actually enforce it. If people can't make the concert, their only option should be to sell back to the box office at face value.

Hi, You are right they should do something to stop this, i have been trying all day with no luck, the last concert at City of Manchester Stadium was fantastic but even though i love Take That i will not pay extortionate prices for a ticket, you dont even know if you are getting a genuine ticket off EBay...

Tell me about it....It really is unfair, I've been ringing since 9am this morning and couldn't get through. There must be definite rigging go on either on the part of the venues or the promoter.

I like TT but I'm not going to pay £875 to see them....

It's not fair that touts are able to buy tickets in large quantities, and stifle the rest of our chances of getting them unless we pay inflated prices for them, and then have no guarantee they'll actually arrive in the post!

Yeah agree with you, stop the touts buying in bulk as well and let the honest fans have a chance.
