Think about it. We work hard, we play hard. We provide the most foreign aid of all, even to countries that hate us. We are a country comprised of immigrants who, in a lot of cases took nothing, and built this great land. We end up being the "playground monitor" for the rest of the world, and we get called names. How f****d up is that? They must be jealous. : )

I'm proud too! And if everyone hates America as much as they say they do, why do they keep hoping fences, swimming across great bodies of water and flying into our country to become citizens? I don't think we should change a thing, they should have to learn English, memorize our plede, respect our government and pay taxes like we do. They're not special and shouldn't get any special treatment...

The problem is that America thinks it's owed something. As a nation Americans are very insecure. "Why didn't you thank us?" "Why don't you like us?" It's not good enough for America to be the richest and strongest. It wants to be loved. It's very needy. When it doesn't get what it wants, it throws a temper tantrum.

On behalf of the rest of the world I say Thank You. Now leave us alone.

I think your right, they are jealous of us. After all ours really is the best country to be living in, I wouldn't want to live any where else. I don't give a rat's a** what any one thinks! Let them think and feel what ever they want, they still don't live here. They probably wish that they did live here, but they would never admit it in a million years.

Sucks to be them!! And with that, YES, I feel the same way!

You are right, most countries want the excess money we generate in the way of taxes but criticize when we try to help. In my opinion you cant have it both ways. Either heed the advice in order to precipitate change and take our money or NOT get anything Period.

Even though America's history has been truly ugly, I wouldn't want to live any where else.

For those who hate America, get your hands out of our pockets and close the door on your way out!

I am not ugly so I can only agree with half of what you say. I feel no shame in being American. I should not because I do nothing shameful.

Right on. We babysit the world and are hated for it. Yet when something goes wrong, everyone complains because we dont do anything about it.
