I'm a big fan for both Slipknot and Mushroomhead, but if I were to pick only one, I'd give Slipknot the two thumbs up because they are the real "band of brothers", if you know what I mean. I like to know what others think about it. Which band you like best and please state reason. If you dislike the opposing band or both bands for that matter, explain why.

I think Slipknot is better. I do think they are a band of brothers.

I think Slipknot is definitely the better band. They have been together since the late 1990's and are taking only a break until they tour in 2008. They have an insanely good drummer, Joey Jordison, and Mick is Immortally talented at guitar (he even has one of the greatest guitars out there- BC Rich Warlock) Also Corey a perfect vocalist who can scream and sound completely hypnotic a second later. The tribal drums by clown also adds to the great sound. Not most heavy metal bands have such good turntables either. I haven't heard too much by Mushroom head, but from what I HAVE heard, I really don't think anyone's come close to topping Slipknot.

i never heard of mushroomhead but i heard a few songs of slipknot. i dont really like them cuz they scream non stop and u have no idea what there saying, but there drumming is so awsome so ill say slipknot is better...

I am a big fan of both,but Mushroomhead is better.
I think their music is put together much better and mixes the trash with slow melodic tunes and vocals.

i pick slipknot only b/c of two reasons:
1. never heard Mushroomhead's music
2. Rick Rubin really helped them out by telling them to add solos in their songs
as for masked artists......BUckethead all the way....

slipknot has much more talent. mushroomhead copied their mask idea.

slipknot all the way!!!...cuz seein joey jordison play his drum solo live is ****** awesome....he took the idea of spinnin in midair while doing the drum solo(like tommy lee)!!!...they have an energy to kept the fans goin at concerts!!...moshpits!!!!!
