I was watching a show last night about all the prophets and cultures around the world that have given December 21, 2012 as a date that something significant will happen. I went to get a drink during commercial and missed the part about what the real Merlin said about this date. Does anyone know?

Yes, I've seen the show...Merlin said that the Planets will re align and or the Earth will change its axis causing major floods...it was pretty scary though....

Merlin??? The last I heard 2012 was the end of the world for the ancient Maya

yep hold on a second, searching....uh, yea, I think you heard "Mayan" and thought you heard "Merlin". Can't find any connection between Merlin and 12/21/2012.
It's the "Mayan" calendar that ends on that date. Some say it's the end, others say it's the beginning of a new age.
