I am going to be traveling to Western Europe and was wanting to buy a pocket translater. Does anyone know of a brand or model that is good?

When I was in Japan, I used an electronic dictionary to translate from Japanese to English and vice versa. It's made by Canon, and I bought it in Japan. It might be an idea to buy yours in the country where you are staying at the time. Enjoy your trip!

frommer's is a very good pocketbook. it is separated into sections and is very easy and helpful to use. for example, if you were going to book a hotel in france, you can easily turn to the section where it says bookin hotels. i always use frommers because there is no other pocketbook guide out there that is better than them. i hope you will consider using this information!!! best of luck!
