I'm very confused. I want to know why I was born into this world. I want to know where I must go.

Well its hard to answer that.We can say God can answer this question but we never met God right.....We just go on thinking of some human figure as God .......a figure which is different for a hindu and different for a muslim. But the fact that I don't understand is if God is there who sent all of us for some purpose on this Earth then why do we humans imagine Him to be a human figure only?Why don't we imagine God as some universal figure.......something that is common for all the living being - the dogs and the cats too?Why do we fight for temples and churches when we know God does not exist in any of these?I think we should head for a universal religion.A religion which is free from all this.May be that would help us reveal the mystery of life and God.Maybe then you find an answer to your question and I to mine.......I think we should get together and form a forum to help the human race to reach a common universal truth.Please let me know your opinion.My e-mail id is - sun1_ahead@yahoo.com

Try to be human. That is a difficult job -enough to make you busy till the end. Your question is the unanswered question that drove many people to recluse, made some great philoshopers, created lot of books and debates ... the answer is unique to the individual. Confusion is the mother of thinking and thinking is the mother of enlightment. You will find it by yourself.

You may not believe in God, but your parents were picked by God to bring you into this world. God has wonderful plans for you and your parents, but it's up to you to receive it. No one can force it on you. You should live each day like it's your last by planting a seed of faith (doing something good for somebody). We were born to be givers. If you have a need, sow a seed by helping someone who is in need. It will always come back to you from God. Be a blessing to somebody else. Stay full of joy. Help somebody elses dream come true. Share what you know with others when you see a need. You get favor by giving a favor. Don't focus on yourself. Give someone else a hand in their time of need. When you're hurting; give someone a kind word of encouragement. It will always come back to you in a good way.
Your reward will be eternal life. To be in heaven with your family who have gone on before you. Be a blessing to someone each day.

It's actually very simple, you are "supposed" to eat, sleep, and attempt to procreate at some stage. That's what life does. All else is window dressing.
We don't see chimps sitting around wondering what their goal in life is, nor oxen, nor dogs, nor fleas. THey all just eat, sleep, procreate, etc... Just because we have these bigger brains doesn't really mean much.
That said, you are now free to pursue whatever goal you want! You are not beholden to anybody, you will not be rewarded nor punished after death, so have fun!

You were put on this earth to be loved by God. God was lonely so he made people. He made you specifically and he loves you more then you could ever imagine. You need to admit your a sinner and separated by God because of your sin and and recognize that his son Jesus died on the cross to save you from your sins and that he is the way to the father. Ask Jesus to be your personal savior so that you can go to heaven when your life on earth is over and be with the one who loves you the most, God. I will pray for you.

AH the I'm lost syndrom.....why worry about it? live life to the fullest, enjoy yourself, help others when you can, the "I'm lost" syndrom is why religion is such a powerful force. everyone gets so worried about the "why" they forget that it is just wonderous "being".
