Yeah, I use to hate that too.
So I decided to trick her a little. I was actually sending an IM to my sister who lives in another state, but my mom of course did not notice the email address or anything like that. But anyway, I wrote this long message about how I was planning to run away from home and how my mom gets on my lasts nerves and whatnot. And at the end of the message, it had, "Gottcha Mom! I knew you were gonna read this, so how about giving me some privacy cause you know I'm not going anywhere. You have nothing to worry about, you raised me well!" And I announced I was going to the restroom. When I got back, she was standing by the computer looking at me smiling, and said, "Yeah, you got me. I'll leave you alone now. And thanks!"
She didn't bother me while on the computer after that! And she didn't have to worry cause I did know better. She had raised me well, and there was nothing to worry about!

often times dad and mom get pissed off and shielding even as they sense their toddler/ren is/are forsaking them as a family individuals. What i'm listening to your dad say is that he'd like you to spend a touch extra time with him and your mom - he of route misses the cases you used to have. He would properly be extra belligerent because of the alcohol replacing his personality which isn't solid. steadily through the years you and he are growing extra distant - a lot less significant contact? Why no longer try having dinner along with your family individuals 2x a week and commence up doing something along with your dad and mom on yet another evening or on the weekend, often times also contain your gf so that they could all get to carry close one yet another. i do not imagine blaming your self or your dad extremely helps in case you're searching for a answer.

Is she doing it to protect you or to just be poking around at what you are saying to your friends?
My 16 year old son is allowed to IM what ever he would like to his friends, but if he adds someone new, I look them over just so know he is safe, (he is OK with that.) unless it's a friend from school. I trust him and his friends from school,it's everyone else I don't trust.
Besides that... who paid for all of the services and the computer?
Just talk to her... she will inderstand. Plus... how old are you????

cause shes ur mom... who hates all these kids saying why my mom watches me on the computer... buy ur own computer pay ur own internet and while ur at it pay for ur own home then u can have all ur privacy... oh wait u cant cause ur a KID....lol ur mom is only watching cause she loves you and theres so many sick and twisted ppl out in this world. try telling her u love her

i hate that or when ur on the fone she listen on the other line so i got a cell fone 2 fix dat so now she answers questions i ask my friend dat **** is annoying as hellllllllll

I hate when my mom does that too.Maybe she want to know if we chat with our soul mate or special friends.It is also for our safety.She don't want us to loving with boy because I'm a girl.She want us to study.
