To become a CRNA, you must first become an R.N....this usually takes 4 years and you need to have a BSN or other appropriate degree. Most programs want you to have a year of acute care nursing experience before they will accept you into their anesthesia program...which will then be another 2 or 3 years depending on the program/school you choose to attend.
