Xbox and Xbox 360: You'll need a broadband intenet connection and a subscription to thier online service Xbox LIve. You can find out more at thier website.

PS2: Needs a network adapter, which can be bought for $30 or you can buy it used for cheaper. You'll need a Dial Up or Broadband (I recommend having a Broadband) connection.

Gamecube: Don't even bother trying to make it go online...

Wii: Works with Wifi, so you'll need to buy Nintendo's USB adapter or already have a Network in your house with a router. Wii also has an online service but you purchase "Wii points" to access it's features.

properly, that's Microsoft we are speaking approximately right here. I mean we already could desire to pay for enjoying online for the Xbox 360. I say Sony's ps4 could have the better hand in this new-gen console conflict.
