I am in the state of Michigan. I probably should have gone to school to be an RN because then I'd actually have a job. I went to school to be a dental hygienist and I LOVE dentistry sooo much. I just can't find a job. I do fill in here and there at various offices but nothing permanent. So many people in this state have lost their jobs, or had cut backs, fewer people getting their teeth cleaned, etc.
I could move out of state and get a job without a problem. BUT... I do not want to move. This is why I thought I should have gone to nursing school instead... and I almost did.

hahha.. u must be filipino.
FIlipinos think that taking up nursing in college is the fastest way to go out of their country.
I laugh everytime is see nursing students at the university..because they are sooo cocky and snobbish. They think they are better filipinos because they will go to the states or europe and work as a nurse. But all they gonna do is taking care of old people for a small ammount of money. ^^
So if you are filipino, dont take up nursing.
Take up another course and help your country instead of walking away from it.

Only if you're not sure what you want to do. There are so much more opportunities than people think. If you're really enthusiastic and work hard on a job that isn't so much in demand you can still do just fine. Statistics are usually completely useless for individuals - don't trust them!

No, you are just allowed to screw up your baby's immunities. But that's jsut past a few weeks, so whatever.
The point is, if you can, you should nurse.
Science does not know everything, and there may be certain benefits to the natural ways our milk mixes up the nutrients that we are unaware of. FOr instance, certain vitamins are absorbed best with certain other ones, that are processed in certain natural forms by the mother.
Chemically altered vitamins might not be taken in as well.
There are reasons for its popularity.
If you can, you should go with it, is all.
