how to undo this jar lid

being a man if I can't figure it out I usually put it in the corner until I check the Internet to figure it out

Start with hot water. If this does not work, a loop of string and a lever will probably move the lid.

put it in the door jam, close the door to hold the lid tight, then turn the jar.

Wait for my hubby to get home. They call him "vise-grips" at work and no one will shake his hand or try to loosen something after he has been there first!! LOL
