what is it like to study medicine in harvard?

Harvard is the most famous medical school in the world. No one applies there who isnt a VERY good student. That means, they were probably the very best student in their high school - got top grades, were President of their class, etc. then when they went to college they were the top student in their college and got top grades in the toughest courses in the college. Then on the side they did something brilliant like write a best selling novel, start a business and make a million, etc.
OK, so when you get to Harvard Medical school those are the kids you will be working next to. They are brilliant, obsessed with working hard, ultra-competititve, extremely well educated.
If you are the smartest person you ever knew, then when you get to Harvard you will be just an ordinary person.
