Is it safe to be on Zoloft while you are trying to get pregnant and while you are pregnant??

If you become pregnant your doctor will recommend that you don't take the Zoloft, but you have to go by the doctors orders on how to reduce the amount you take and then to the point where you are not on it at all.

I speak from experience. Hope this helps.

Your doctor will tell you to get off of it. I was on Prozac for 2 years. When i finally got off of it, is when i got pregnant. But for the 2 years we tried before, i never got pregnant. But when i found out and went to the doc, she told me to make sure i wasn't on prozac anymore. I would get off it just incase. After you have the baby, get back on if your not going to breast feed.

i would say NO, it is not healthy for you and the baby either.
i can understand that you need Zoloft, but you have to stop it somehow.
do you have panic syndrome or something like that? doctors say that all your problems will automatically disappear as soon as you are pregnant.
