I know, I should know this. Should I just use the 89 octane stuff?
Thanks in advance.

Ok, if your running a 4 STROKE engine, you don't need to add any oil to the gas, and you should be able to use regular unleaded. If you have a 2 STROKE engine, you would use regular unleaded mixed with the appropriate amount of oil.
The engine technically has one one engine cycle, with the piston traveling either twice through the cylinder in a cycle for a 2 stroke or 4 times for a 4 stroke.

89 is fine as long as your sure its 4 cycle and not 2 cycle.

89 would be fine, but I would use 87 as it is a bit cheaper & it wont hurt the engine

does not matter unless you feel the need to spend extramonies on gas...lower octain will work and.... make sure you mix it properly...can cause engine failure
