You should be eating a lot of fresh fruit, and veg, drink lots of milk, its good for you and the baby and will help with heartburn, folic acid and a little of what you fancy, they advise against tuna, because of the mercury levels, shellfish, pate, soft cheeses, and mayonnaise if it contains raw egg,but burgers and junk food wont harm baby, these may put more weight on you though, which may be difficult to shed after the little one comes, good luck with the birth, take care of yourself.

Congratulations!! It is going to be tough to cut out foods you are used to eating. Unless morning sickness makes some foods undesirable. I would try to add some fruits and veggies to your diet. Drink lots of fluids, limit caffiene though and artificial sweetners. If you are taking a vitamin that helps too. Fish is a good source of omega 3 fatty acids, although that too needs to be limited due to high mercurey levels in certain fishes. Certain cheeses, lunch meats, and cesar dressing should be avoided too. You can find a ton of info online about this. Good luck.

You don't have to completely cut out all junkfood. But, you should make sure you are getting a balanced diet with all 5 food groups. Milk is very important too for building baby's bones. Some fat is good for baby's brain development. But, I would definitely cut out as much caffeine as possible. When I was pregnant, I also tried to avoid artificial sweeteners. I wish you the best with your pregnancy!

Drink lots of water! I know it's hard to do but it's a must! You can basically eat what you normally eat but be sure to eat things like hotdogs, tuna, fish, and sushi in moderation!
