long story short she drops the baby off (15months) off at daycare and from there she goes and messes around, smoking pot, and just avoiding her responsibilites, she does this cause my co-worker works grave-yard so he sleeps in the day and she has no school on certain days and works at night so her day is emty most of the day and that when she does this.....what should he do

No, it is not right and the guy who has asked her to do this a jerk; if he has issues with this wife he needs to take them up with her, not involve your co-worker in the mix.
It is likely you co-worker wants to hook up with the guy is the reason she is doing this, whether she will admit to it or not. What she needs to realize what goes around, comes around...even if the guy and his wife get a divorce and they hook up, next time he will have the same line for a new honey and get that girl to follow HER around.

Yes i feel in this case it definitley would be right for your co-worker to follow his spouse and to find out what is going on and why. He also needs to confront her about it and she also does not seem like a good and caring mom. She really should be at home with her husband and child and stop running and messing around on her husband.
Did he ask you about this or are you just wondering for yourself and how do you know she is messing around on him? Has he seen or caught her doing so already? Does he want you to help him in this situation?

Did he ask your opinion? If so, tell him what you think he should do. Sounds like she is really using this poor dolt. If he enjoys being used, no need for you to bother wasting your breath. If he doesn't, then help him follow her and document what you see so he'll have lots of ammunition when he divorces the tramp and asks the court for custody of this poor, poor little baby.

he should find out for sure and take steps to get custody of his child and a divorce from her.....
