Yes I do that,but most of the time it's too late and I can't change what I did or what I said.But then I reflect on the situation so I won't do it again.

yes, not as often as I should, but the times I've
stopped and reflected on a situation has made a huge difference in the outcome....stopping and reflecting is like stepping out of it and looking at the situation with a bird's eye view....it's hard to do if emotions are involved but sometimes getting a distance---even a little bit--really does help.

Sometimes I stop short and have to pick myself up off the ground, think, then go back and reponder the situation.
