Frankenmuth is a very beautiful town in Michigan.
Roughly half way between Flint and the lake.
Michigan is quite different to Georgia, particularly the weather!
Georgia of course would give you easy access to Florida and the Carolinas.
And probably better work opportunities. I'm not certain but Georgia's cost of living may be cheaper too.
I find the eastern coastal states too populated for me however.
You are wise to research areas that appeal to you, learn all you can before relocating.
And if possible take a trip and check it out before deciding.
Talk to the locals and the business owners and ensure the area has all the facilities you require.
If you choose a city, look for their Convention and Visitors Bureau website, they always have great information.
