I saw the population figures for servers once. Alliance tends to outnumber Horde by 2 (or 3) to 1 on every server. Or did before the blood elves? Why, you ask? No Hawt Chix to ogle in the Horde.

Well, now there are...but it remains to be seen how it impacts the game.

I'd say there are more high level Alliance than Horde because they're outnumbered. But if all those level 60s are playing their newbie night elves for cyberporn in Goldshire, it will appear like the Horde is higher.

Horde does (or did, pre-blood elf) tend to be more hard-core gamers and older people since they're not so caught up on being 'pretty.'

it's a newer server then but no there's not more horde than alliance on my server (suramar) and allaince is not made of noobs it's just some kid's half the time but i know bout half the population that's older than 17+ that are really good pvpers we just never get in the same AV that we want so it's split up with other servers that have lvl 51's joining instead of the 40 lvl 60's in my server that group up and try and join all at once (that's with me with them) plus when BC came out alliance moved on to 70 most epiced out lvl 60 horde stayed and did AV

Horde is mostly the side with fewer players, though with the expansion out Horde population on most servers doubled with the introduction of Blood Elves.

It also depends on your server, High Population PvP servers tend to have a higher Horde population.

alot of new players like NE cause they were one of the cooler races in WC3 then when they figure out that they are weak and not that good for certain classes they never touch them again. alot of servers have fewer horde players that are stronger and not noobs

It just depends on the people, how often they play, and what level they are.
