dear, even when we try with all our might to do right and good, we sometimes screw up badly...it is in the human makeup, we cannot see what is always right and good.

I personally do not think there is such a thing and beleive everything is subjective.
As for me (according to traditional moral standards) my standards get lesser and less as I get older due to the fact I feel that in alot of situations, what is considered moral is not always the smart thing to do and is inflexible for such situations.
I mean, how can you do what is right if most of the time the "right thing" works in helping others at the exspense of yourself? How could you help others if you don't help your self?

everything cannot be subjective. the knowledge that everything is subjective, is itself objective, and contradictory of the starting premise: and hence, reductio ad absurdum. // that's a starting point. //
there are many right things - problem is, we don't often know them until *after* we make a decision and see the consequences. the history of such consquences is called "experience" and is a fairly good guide.

I always do what's right for the situation and sometimes... the situation calls me for me doing a little painless wrong so I don't get in trouble. This is the actual reason I made a conscious decision not to go into politics or law. I would have made a great politician or lawyer but I would have had a record so checkered and an integrity so deeply entrenched in doubt that my own family would have pretended not to know me.

i believe everything happened for a reason

I guess its subjective, cause the right thing for me, may not be the right thing for you. However, I try to do things as best as I can, without harming anyone and doing them following the morals and values that my parents taught me.

Of course NOT, I, as everybody make many mistakes, and that is because we are very far from being perfects, some times that concerns me, but once it passes, it belongs to the past, is done, the best is when you know you failed and why, this gives you wisdom for not to commit it again. To make mistakes is not pleasant, but is part of the life, and paradoxically is sometimes good, because is one of the basis of wisdom, sometimes is better to know how not to do it instead opposed.

I always try but no human being does the "right" thing all the time. Even the apostle Paul said that he does what he does not want to do and doesn't do what he wants to do. But I keep trying.

I do try to do the right thing but, being human I make mistakes like everyone else.
If my conscience is clear, then I've done the right thing. After all, it's my conscience I have to live with.

I think this is subjective...what's right for one person may not be right for another...I try to do what I feel is the right thing...it's all about intention.
