You may try a used computer shop. DDR is a little older than DDR2, so, if a Shop have some in an old non-working computer they "May" sell it that cheap. IF, they have a Used 160GB HDD it would be cheap enough, the RAM what be hard to get for the price.

You could look on ebay for a second hand memory chip and HD but you're not going to get those parts for the money you're looking at. You'd be lucky to get some 2nd-hand ram -1gig- for under £40. The same goes for the HD - at least another £40.

More like £60 for the RAM alone, though you might pick some up cheaper if you speak nicely to a local computer shop - NOT PC World & the like.

You haven't got a hope of buying memory for that price. Have a look at ebuyer for true prices of the parts you require.

£45 is not a lot of money for what you want, have you an EBay account, you may be lucky on there to find what you want.
