No. I believe in the old saying: "You get what you pay for." Tire prices do vary, but quality of tires seems to be consistant with brand names.
I believe the top echelon are Goodyear, Michelin, Firestone in that order. Second tier are Cooper, General, Dunlop and Japanese brands.

For the most part tire manufactures face a lot of liability and the standers are very high so truth be told just get the cheep walmart tires.

Depends on the size of the tire. I have used Michelins for years and they run around $94 each new at Costco. I just replaced my factory Michelins last month at 82,000 miles on my 2002 Honda Accord. 80,000 miles on a tire? Not bad in my opinion..

Stick to the brand. You could be paying $50 for a rip off

not really you can pay a high price for tires and end up with a bad quality tire.. higher the price isn't always the best in some things. shop around..

Noooo.... Price is no indicator of quality, no matter what it is you're buying. And you don't want to get bad tyres, that could end your life.

Make sure they're good before buying, the only thing you have to worry about concerning price is is they're too *expensive*, not too cheap.

Maybe,maybe not.

I've seen pos tires go for $150 a tire, before. ...just as I've seen really good ones go for $25. Just do your homework. =)

You buy cheap, you get cheap.
Dont mess around with cheap tires on your vehicle, your life may depend on them
