the discovery that one could kill other people and animals. not sure if that's an event, but there must have been a first. it's sick how people are still having wars and eating dead animals.
if it's not an event... i guess i would try to stop world war 1 or something like that. or maybe i'll change the day that the government decided marijuana was bad... i guess that's not very historical though.

Perhaps had the assignation of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, been prevented WW1 and WW2 would have been prevented, and the millions of people that perished in the wars would not have happened, the Russian revolution would not have happened. The present world would have been greatly effected.

The historical event that I would prevent if I could would be the Holocaust. So many people lost their lives for no reason because they were all just Jews doing their thing.

I would make the finding of nuclear energy or power impossible. So much of the negative energy in the world today revolves around nuclear energy. US and the world/North Korea; US and the world /Iran; US and the world/ China; the entire Mideast/Israel. What we gain in electrical power, we lose in being safe and unthreatened from nuclear war.

I'd make sure the civil rights movement never took place. Its been the most abused law ever allowing special interest groups to tear down traditional values and replace them with crap.
