New plumbing business, how to market?

My partner is a recently qualified Corgi registered plumber/gas engineer. How do we go about marketing ourselves? Who should we approach? Are there any gaps in the market anyone knows of that we could consider? We are getting work, but want to do well and expand as quick as possible.

When I need a service, I look in my local paper. Also make sure you have it put on your service vehicles and the yellow pages.
