I don't think you lack style, what I think is the problem is that there is such a diversity of different fashion styles out there that you are bewildered at what to wear? It is dress and leggings, or smocks, or wrap-dresses ...? I find myself wandering around the shops in a daze and cannot see anything that I think would suit me.
Here's some good and quite secret advice. Your local department store (Debenhams, Dickins & Jones, places like that) usually have someone employed as a personal shopper. Don't laugh - sounds posh, but it's someone who knows most of the store's clothes and has a good feel for what goes together. Their services are free - FREE! You just book an appointment and go in and see them and have a chat, what your lifestyle is like, colours you like, what you don't like etc. Tell them that you are stuck in T-shirt and jeans - they hear this all the time. She'll walk round the store with you and select stuff for you to try on which you would never have chosen! You can try on loads of stuff that you would never have thought of and you may be pleasantly surprised. Remember, she's seen all this before but has a totally new way of looking at you! You don't have to buy the clothes - it's just a way to make you more adventurous about your fashion style and I really do recommend doing this at least once. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
Good luck, make an appointment. They're great fun.
Oh by the way, also go to the make-up counters in the store and ask for a make-over. Most of the assistants are bored senseless and are desperate for a break in their routine and they love sitting you down and making you up. You get a lot of good ideas that way and can go back to different counters to try different brands. Be cheeky and ask for some freebies too - they always have little promotional packs of creams and fragrances to hand out!
Have fun!

Yes you do have style! If you are not happy with what you are wearing, take a more girly side. Buy more skirts and tank tops.
Here I'll start you off:
Try and find a baby~blue tank top with a mini denim jean skirt (make sure there are shorts underneath if the skirt is short). Then just go from there. The best places you will find these things are at GARAGE, LA SENZA (GIRL or not) and sometimes even ARITZIA.
Hope I've helped!

Hi Katie - all I wear is jeans and t-shirts too and I dont think Im not stylish, I just dont care about fashion! I do buy t-shirts that are quite tight, or girly floaty tops. My jeans are either really light blue, so I can mix them with boy-ish t-shirts, or really dark which can be dressed up with boots and a pretty stop. But mainly, I just live in my trainers (my arthritis in my feet means theyre too sore to wear anything heeled!) Embrace your own unique sense of style and dont change for anybody! Bex x

get a nice jacket or couple of them that your match your favorite jeans. choose jacket which would make your shoulders look wider, that helps to hide pear shape;) also try to change t-shirts to some shirts and blouses. but remember, the main thing is that you must feel good, so don't overdo or wear smth that you don't feel right about. also try close fitting trousers that would feel like jeans, but look more elegant. trousers always look more elegant than jeans. and if you don't want to be elegant, choose trousers with applications or girly embroidery on them. good luck in you style search!
if you are not sure what fits you, don't be afraid to try on different things in wear stores. simply take a bunch of clothes, get to dressing-box and check what looks the best on you ;)

You have a similar figure to me! I'm size 6/8 stomach and 10 legs, it's gross (no offence). Try wearing dark jeans and brighter tops, I don't do this myself because I don't care about fashion at all, I'm all goth/emo, but I've heard its good for pears.

Take a friend or two shopping, preferably someone who's dress sense you like. Ban yourself from buying ANY denim and any t-shirts while out, and aim to get 1 skirt, 1 blouse and 1 pair of trousers minimum.

A pair of high heels will give new life to t-shirts and jeans. I know they are very bad for health and safety but I feel so special when I put on my bright pink 9 inch heels with my embellished jeans and new white t-shirt.

wear what you feel comfortable in, fashion changes every day, if people ask say your trying out a new fashion, experiment with different clothes, find out what suits you, Style comes with experience, ask trusted friends, or family members, dont go around feeling uncomfortable with what your wearing, you could loose your confidence, it took me years to discover what suits me, and what I feel confortable in, I'm a top and skirt girl, so dont worry too much about style, it will come.
