I am a Chinese thatm live in Beijing and I notice some people on the website claims that Islam is illegal in China, which is not ture!
There are at least 150 million Muslim living in China today and there are Muslim schools, Muslim restaurants and Mosque every were in China. We even stoped companys from putting pigs on their advertisements just so we won't offend any Muslims.
So why are people lieing like this? Are they just ignorant or is it something else?

yep, there are many muslims around, for example the 2 muslim men yesterday who were selling BBQ meat, in fact they are free to practise their religions, we dont despise them, we dont laugh at them or anything.(P.S: I live in CHina)

People outside don't understand about china. China is mad of different ethnic groups and there are many Muslims which are among them in the Chinese northwest province.

For some reason I thought it was an atheist society and religion in general was not tolerated.
You just don't hear or see people in China praying or having anything to do with worship.
