You should really check out WPI, Worcester Polytechnical Institute. It's co-ed, great for technical studies such as engineering and I've heard it's got great extracirriculars! I SHOULD have gone there! Also, I hear the LOWEST grade you can get in a course there is a C! The tuition is lower the most colleges also, and it's in Worcester, where there are a few venues for concerts for big name bands and artists. Now, I really think I should have went there.

Another exceptional college that might match that description is Olin School of Engineering. It's relatively unknown, but employers definitely know it because I've heard it being called "The Harvard of engineering schools." Olin is also located in Massachusetts.
