There are thousands of charities in the UK providing health and social care through a variety of projects from children to older people, learning difficulties, specific conditions, sensory impairments, etc. They would be looking for someone with your background, although all employers are looking for some kind of work experience, despite the degree. You could volunteer to gain this experience. Look in the Guardian on Wednesdays or on their website.
