Small biz and I"m the amateur IT guy there. Every time our boss has the smallest glich he yells out, "Something is wrong with my PC, I think it's a virus". We all roll our eyes because he really believes this. I walk in and hit a few buttons and it's fixed. Problem is his son works in computers, a long way away, so this guy 'thinks' he's a computer expert. He's a 'know it all' so I'm sure some "Nick Burns" out there get this all the time and have a nice comeback for those folks.... He's not going to change and I am able to get a little smart a** with him(he's also a friend) and would love to here how you guys handle it..

Just refer to the problem as PEBKAC.

problem exists between keyboard and chair.
