It was reported in Singapore that a girl 9 years old was 6mth pregrant by the 14 year old boy.
that was the youngest recorded......
so do you think sex education - at least safe sex - should be taught?

Well, parents shouldn't see this as a way to avoid talking about sex with their children but I think many parents just don't talk about it with their kids so school is the only place they learn about sex (aside from what they learn from friends). So, it should be discussed to a point at school but parents need to be stepping in there too.

Heck ya!!!!!!!!!! If it wasn't for sex education there would be alot more teenage pregnancy. I have worked on an ambulance for 6 yrs. The youngest pregnant girl I have ever seen was 12. She was 6 mos. pregnant. They need to teach the kids alot younger obviously.

It is still taught in schools and it will never leave. It is like saying "should math be taught in schools?"

Yes. Everybody knows about sex one way or another & then wonders that nobody talked with him about it before, starts to feel its shameful, gets shocked about his parents, etc..
So, I think its necessary to give kids a good account about sex in a kid-friendly way, because hiding is not a protection.

Yes ! but must be of very careful and trained teacher, otherwise this is very dangerous for those teenagers.
