Then don't, please. This is one of St. Paul's dreadful legacies, perverting the message of a Jesus who went to parties, changed water into wine, and from all accounts was a life-enhancing person who - apart from anything else - must have been a lot of fun to hang out with.
There's a saying in the Torah: that when you die and go to meet the Lord, he will hold you accountable for all the bounteous things in this good world that he set out in front of you and you didn't partake of.
And by the way, cross me off your list; I certainly don't want you to suffer for me, so that's one less to fret about.

I am not too sure what you mean by this, but I have always found that prayer pulls me thru any thing that scares me. I have only recently started to go to church again but let me tell you what an amazing feeling it is to have your church family welcome you with open arms. I would love to talk to you more in depth about this--I will not try to force my religion(christian) on you either. I beleive that we should not have to feel scared or depressed.

I feel youe pain. We all feel like this from time to time. There are things in our lives that trigger this feeling. You are not alone . Maybe you just need a really good friend to talk to. Lots of luck and don't be so hard on yourself it will get better for you.

I used to feel that way at work, fortunately I retired and no longer have to bear this burden. Maybe changing jobs can help you avod the scapegoat syndrome?

It used to be referred to as a "delusion of grandeur". I advise going to a doctor and asking to be referred to someone specialising in treating people with that problem.
